Welcome to Tea and Roses!

Tea and Knitting

Many of us remember the hand-knitted cosy sitting on top of our grandmother's favorite teapot...tea and knitting seem to go together...they both sooth the senses and allow us to re-center ourselves. Every month Tea-and-Roses will bring you a new knitting pattern or project to download or purchase. So, pour yourself a cuppa, pick up your needles, dig into your stash and join Tea-and-Roses as we 'knit into the silence' together.

Look for new patterns to download or purchase or recommendations often.

A Teacup Wash Cloth

A fun and easy knitting project and a great Hostess Gift and something you will want for yourself, as well...the Teacup Wash Cloth is quickly knit in bright, colorful cotton yarn. Once you use this hand-knit washcloth, you will want many of these in lots of different colors. The word 'tea' is knit into the garter stitch edged cloth below a little teacup with bobbles.
